Due to my extensive background in the security profession, it was an instinctive progression to apply my unique experiences in a way that would benefit others. I worked for a year on a solution to the security problems inherent in the soft wood door casings utilized in nearly all residential-category door units.

The ultimate goal was to design a product that was:

• Aesthetically unobtrusive - virtually invisible when installed. (as opposed to adding ugly bars and posts to reinforce the back of a door).
• Easy to Install by the average homeowner with standard hand-tools.

I knew if I could design a product that could meet all the above criteria that I would have a winning product. So after exhaustive research, re-designs, re-engineering and testing, I finally released the Patented StrikeMaster II PRO. We were the originators of this concept and still lead the pack in meeting the four primary goals outlined above.
